As a very popular fast growing Radio Online Station – We need a full team to keep our fantastic shows on air…. We are a dynamic fast moving, non-profit volunteer based Radio Station run by Djs and Radio personalities.

RADIO DJ & PRESENTERS

We’re looking for fun motivated people with confidence, a get-stuck-in attitude and a passion radio. Typical crew duties include creating content for your shows and representing the Smash Online Radio in public as brand ambassadors. Extra training in other aspects of radio or presenting could be a possibility once you become part of the team.

As a part of the Smash Online Radio family, you are the face of Smash Online Radio and act as a living advert for the brand. So, we need members who are fun, confident, approachable and professional but above all who have a real passion for the listeners that take time to tune into their shows.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE A RADIO PRESENTER/Dj?

Self-confidence and good interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
A clear speaking voice
The ability to communicate information live in a developing news environment.
Good organisation and planning skills.

The ability to think creatively.
Awareness of the technical aspects of broadcasting.
Knowledge of media law, a willingness to keep the rules and be able to accept feedback and direction.
Knowledge about current affairs or about specialist topics such as sport.

GETTING ON AIR

There is always a presenter waiting list, but there are often some show Job openings for volunteers on Smash Online Radio Radio experience can widen the range of opportunities open to you, and your chance of a show on Smash Online Radio.

You must be committed to at least 3 months initial volunteer period

Have you got what it takes to be part of the Smash Online Radio Team?

If you have worked in radio or a promotional team before this would be an advantage, but it is not essential as training will be provided for the right people and you work from any location that suits you all you need a your laptop, Good WiFi, a microphone, your working material and your music selection.

RESEARCHERS & STATION ASSISTANT

Are you looking to get involved behind the scenes? As a radio station assistant, you will be involved in various areas of the business between research and content to offering production support to Dj’s and presenters.
